Help members get the best from Nanaade

Your members can enter Nanaade with very little information. They do not need to complete a long registration form on your website before using SSO.

This guide explains:

  • what your organization sends when a member signs in;
  • what information each Nanaade feature needs;
  • what Nanaade asks the member to add when something is missing;
  • what your team can provide in advance to improve the experience.

The simple version

For a successful first sign-in, your system sends:

  • a permanent member ID;
  • the member's email address;
  • the member's name;
  • the Nanaade feature they want to open.

Nanaade handles the rest. If a feature needs more information—such as a resume or field of study—Nanaade shows a clear setup screen inside the product.

Member signs in on your website
→ Your server sends their identity securely
→ Nanaade opens the requested feature
→ If information is missing, Nanaade helps them add it
→ The member continues where they left off

Your server also adds short-lived security information described in the SSO integration guide. Do not put resumes, academic records, feature permissions, or passwords inside the sign-in message.

What members need for each feature

Job Board

Members can browse and open jobs immediately after SSO.

They do not need a resume to:

  • browse jobs;
  • search and filter jobs;
  • open job details;
  • bookmark a job.

Adding job preferences makes results more relevant. Useful preferences include:

  • preferred roles;
  • location or remote preference;
  • industries;
  • employment type;
  • experience level.

If these preferences are missing, Nanaade still shows the Job Board and offers a gentle prompt to personalize results.

Resume match and applications

To check how well a resume matches a job, the member needs a usable resume in Nanaade.

A resume can come from:

  • uploading an existing resume;
  • completing the Nanaade resume builder;
  • an approved roster/import workflow that already created structured resume information.

To apply for a job through Nanaade, the member needs:

  1. a usable resume;
  2. a completed resume match for that job;
  3. an open, valid job listing.

If the resume is missing, Nanaade offers Upload resume and Build a resume. After completion, the member returns to the same job rather than starting over.

Career Pathway

For a first career-pathway recommendation, Nanaade needs only:

  • field of study or major;
  • current academic year or level.

The following details improve recommendations but do not have to block the first step:

  • institution;
  • country;
  • faculty;
  • graduation year;
  • resume skills;
  • career interests.

For a detailed roadmap, the member later chooses target roles and completes the relevant skills/readiness steps.

If academic details are missing, Nanaade displays a short form inside Career Pathway. It does not send the member through the full Nanaade registration journey.

Career Pathway

Two quick details help Nanaade recommend realistic career directions.

Example: Nanaade asks only for the information needed by Career Pathway.

Career Copilot

Members can ask general career questions without completing a full profile.

Some requests need extra context:

  • Find jobs for me: role, location, or job preferences improve the search.
  • Improve my resume: requires an uploaded or built resume.
  • Prepare me for an interview: requires a selected job, target role, or interview topic.
  • Recommend skills or courses: works best after a career pathway or job-match analysis.

When context is missing, Copilot asks one focused question or displays the relevant setup action inside the conversation. It must not claim to have reviewed information that the member has not supplied.

Learning resources

Members can browse general learning resources without a completed profile.

Personal recommendations improve when Nanaade knows:

  • the member's target role;
  • current skills;
  • identified skill gaps;
  • saved learning preferences.

When personalization data is unavailable, Nanaade clearly labels results as general resources rather than personalized recommendations.

Interview preparation

AI preparation needs a target job, role, or interview topic. Skills-based practice needs at least one selected skill.

If no interview context is available, Nanaade shows a job/role selector or skill selector. Completed interview reports appear only after a supported interview has finished.

Some voice and external interview features may be unavailable while they are in preview. Nanaade shows an unavailable message rather than a provider error.

Information for university features

Your organization can create the tenant first and add cohort data afterward.

Student roster

The minimum useful roster information is:

  • member email;
  • member name;
  • a permanent student/member identifier when available.

The following details improve analytics and reporting:

  • program or discipline;
  • academic year or level;
  • graduation year;
  • cohort;
  • country or campus;
  • sector or career interest.

Analytics and insights

Analytics become more useful as members complete their profiles and use Nanaade.

DashboardInformation that improves it
General analyticsRoster, program/cohort mapping, and member activity
Skill GapSkills from resumes, assessments, pathways, and program/discipline mapping
EmployabilityResume completeness, skills, job matches, applications, interviews, and outcomes
Program InsightsMembers mapped to programs plus skills, pathways, curriculum, and outcomes
Job Market InsightsProgram/sector context, member skills, location, and Nanaade market data
ReportsThe information required by the selected report and reporting period

Nanaade does not treat missing information as a negative result. For example, a member without a resume is not counted as having zero skills or zero employability.

Instead, Nanaade shows how much information is available and what can improve the report.

Your report is ready with partial data

Improve coverage to make cohort insights more representative.

Program mapping89%
Skill evidence58%

Example: partial information is explained clearly instead of becoming a false zero result.

Curriculum-based features

Curriculum mapping works best when your organization provides:

  • program name;
  • academic year or level;
  • term or semester;
  • course/module name;
  • learning outcomes or skills covered.

If no curriculum exists yet, Nanaade shows an import or setup action. It does not generate an alignment claim from an empty curriculum.

Information for partner features

Partner organizations follow the same approach using associates instead of students.

Start with:

  • associate name;
  • associate email;
  • permanent associate/member identifier when available.

For better analytics, include or encourage members to add:

  • program or cohort;
  • sector or industry;
  • skills;
  • resume;
  • target roles;
  • participation and outcome dates.

When information is incomplete, partner dashboards show coverage and actionable missing-data counts rather than empty or misleading charts.

Information for employer features

Job management

A publishable job normally needs:

  • job title;
  • description;
  • location or remote arrangement;
  • employment type;
  • application instructions or configuration.

Skills, experience, compensation, deadline, and screening questions improve matching and applicant quality.

Nanaade saves incomplete jobs as drafts and highlights the fields needed before publishing.

Applicant management and analytics

Applicant scoring requires both a valid job and a candidate resume. If a candidate resume is missing, Nanaade shows Awaiting resume rather than a score of zero.

Employer analytics begin after jobs, applications, or pipeline activity exist. Before then, Nanaade shows a first-use guide instead of empty performance charts.

What your organization should prepare

Before inviting members:

  • confirm every member has a stable, non-recycled ID;
  • confirm your organization is allowed to assert each email address;
  • choose which Nanaade features members can launch;
  • decide whether members will be added in advance or created on first sign-in;
  • prepare a roster import if you want cohort analytics from day one;
  • map programs, cohorts, disciplines, or sectors where possible;
  • tell members that Nanaade may ask for a resume or a small amount of profile information;
  • provide a support contact for membership or roster corrections.

You do not need to send:

  • member passwords;
  • Nanaade permissions or feature grants;
  • complete resumes inside SSO;
  • private academic records inside SSO;
  • usage limits;
  • arbitrary destination URLs.

What members see when information is missing

Nanaade uses a consistent experience:

  • a clear explanation of what is needed and why;
  • no blame or technical error message;
  • one obvious action, such as Upload resume;
  • a safe way to return;
  • tenant colors and branding;
  • the original job, pathway, or request preserved;
  • automatic continuation where practical after the information is added.

Missing information is different from an unavailable feature:
